Short Fiction

Short stories have always held a special place in my writing life. I am drawn to them wherever I find them, collections both new and old, stories in magazines that haunt me and send me searching for everything else in that writer's oeuvre. This page is where I share what I enjoy; collections I want to press on people, single stories that have stayed with me, and the occasional note on why the short story matters as much as poetry or novels.
