Erika Banerji is a novelist and short story writer based in London.

She is a recipient of the 2019 London Library Emerging Writers Award.

She has been long listed for the 2018 RSL V.S Pritchett Short Story Prize and has an Honourable mention in the 2018 Lorian Hemingway Short Story Competition.

She has been long listed for the 2018 London Short Story Prize for her story ‘First Time Ever’, now published in the Prize Anthology.

Erika is also a journalist, book critic and columnist and has written for several international publications.

She was weekly columnist for The Times of India from 2000-2003.
